How replayable is this game?
We designed One-Hit Heroes with replayability in mind on three main axes:
1) Since each Hero is asymmetrical with their own fully-unique deck, every boss will feel different depending on the Heroes you and your teammates pick.
2) We curate the cards you draft from the first time you go through an Episode, but each subsequent playthrough you’ll be drafting from your Armory (the pool of every card you’ve unlocked thus far). Similar to the roguelike deckbuilder genre, your challenge will be to make the most of the tools at hand (your draft options) to prepare for the boss. Knowing their attack patterns is one thing, but putting together a build that can defeat them is another.
3) If you defeat the huge challenge that is the Epilogue, you’ll unlock a new game mode that we think will double the existing replayability!

Is the 5-Minute Dungeon Baby Barbarian pack or the 5-Minute Mystery Mastermind pack available outside of the Ultimate Co-Op Bundle?
Yes! You’ll be able to order them directly on Amazon in a few months. Full transparency — if you order them individually online, they’ll probably arrive before the Ultimate Co-Op Bundle. The co-op bundle is an immense bundle discount, but it does not have anything KS-exclusive.

Is the Epilogue a full Episode (e.g. 4-boss format or equivalent)?
It’ll take as long to play as a full Episode, but it’s closer to one huge boss fight than four small ones. The rewards are also different: instead of gaining Armory cards, you’ll gain a surprise that’ll add even more replayability to each Episode.

If the base game already supports 1-4 players, what does the Solo add-on provide?
The base game’s solo mode is multihand play — and we don’t just say that, we really minimized the fiddliness so it plays well.
But multihand still requires you to play two heroes, so we wanted something truly dedicated towards streamlining solo play if you do it often.
DO66-0 is an extremely low-maintenance Companion Hero that lets you focus on maximizing just one Hero. As you level up, you’ll customize it with passives so you can build your Hero into whatever role you’d like and still be successful.

How do I make sure I’m getting the DO66-0 pack?
DO66-0 is available as an add-on now, and will also appear in the Pledge Manager after the campaign. So if you want to wait until you’vve voted on its appearance before picking up yours, no rush!

How soon can we expect Season 2?
We have some other games in the pipeline, but Season 2 is definitely in the works! Its timeline will depend on how successful this campaign is.
That being said: we fully believe that Season 1 is its own awesome, fully replayable board game in its own right. You’ll have plenty to enjoy in the meanwhile while we build Season 2!

Is there a way to track cards for "rebuilding" card packs? I want to play an Episode for the first time again.
Yep! Every card has an index with the Episode name and its number. For example, cards TF-1 to TF-8 are from the first Factory card pack, then cards TF-9 to TF-16 are from the second Factory pack, etc.

The card packs looks like they're one-time use... Is this a Legacy game?
It’s more of a regular board game where we took a page from Legacy games (and video games like Slay the Spire) where you improve your card collection by playing more.
We could have just made a normal board game with the Armory already unlocked, but…
1) We wanted your first time playing to be curated so you can get a good mix of straightforward and complex cards each pack. 2) Opening card packs is more fun than unwrapping plastic, especially if you’re a TCG fan. 3) Sometimes (particularly in Episode 2) the cards you unlock are specifically tied to the boss you just defeated, so it’d feel weird to spoil that.

What is BackerKit?
BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!
The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.
How does BackerKit work?
After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.
I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?
The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.
Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.
To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.
How do I update my shipping address?
BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.
When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?
That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.
I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?
As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
